FIRE AND ICE_Robert Frost

Some say the world will end in fire-----
Some say in ice.----------
From what I’ve tasted of desire-----
I hold with those who favour fire
How do people think of the world?
What is the opinion of the poet about fire?
What does FIRE stand for?

But if it had to perish twice,-----
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.------

Central idea of the poem:
The poem revolves round the love, compassion equality, considerateness and sympathy alone can help mankind in establishing peace on the earth. Fire and Ice are symbols for desire and hate. Desire can bring an end to this world. Ice symbolizes coldness, hate and indifference in human relationship and can be the cause of the end of this beautiful world. Too much desire and too much coldness to others bring an end of the world.
The fire and ice are symbolic representations of our unlawful feelings. Fire stands for desire and ice stands for hate.
Our disgusting desires to find others in bad situations are never ending. Sometimes people feel happy only be seeing others in sorrow.  Desires mostly find a way out in the form of curses and bad words. Desires are unending. A person never feels satisfied with fulfilling of one desire. Desires are actually a threat of hankering. If one desire completes, man begets another desire.
A person walking on foot desires to have a bicycle, a bicyclist desires for a bike and a biker for a car and a car owner desires for big high end cars. It means our desires never seems having full stop.
These unending desires insinuate people to acquire things compromising with morality. It gives birth to unlawful way. Sometimes people do frauds to meet their incessant desires. Such  demon like desires can gradually end up the world.
Even more cruel than the desire is hate. Hate is such a Satan-like demon which only ends up engulfing the prey of hate. Hate just does not remain with the hater; it also poses threat to the person being hated. It’s reciprocal. Hate begets hate and bounces back in more hatredness. Hate can end up the world sooner than desired.
People living in neighborhood hate each other, people living in one society hate one another, people living in one country also hate each other. Bordering nations also carry hateful wishes for each other. Due to the pungent hate there is no peace in the world. The world wars were the outcome of Hate.
Robert Frost rightly mentions that hate can alone bring end to the world.
How according to you Man can live happily and peacefully? Elucidate
